Why apply to an early college:
The American Institutes for Research found that more students who take college-level courses in high school go on to college than their classmates who don’t. They also found evidence supporting the fact that exposing high school students to the challenges of college-level work can increase their likelihood of success.
The Community College Research Center at Teachers College, Columbia University found that students that are in college are more likely than their peers to stay in college once they get there. They are also more likely to earn higher grades and graduate.
Most of OSEC graduates go on to a four year college with many of their General Education credits completed.
